I hope this is going to be a slow burn romance because I really want to see Aideen get stronger and overcome her traumas. Nicely done beginning, very intriguing!

But she seems very realistic to me, maybe that's why I don't feel immediately attracted to her, idk. A realistic portrayal of the "rich people's married life". Not a typical Mary Sue FL who face slaps her enemies left and right, rather a mature and realistic story about how a woman who's life was predetermined from birth is slowly learns that she can be more than just a rich man's wife, finds love, and gets back what belongs to her in due time. Don't expect a fairytale-like plot; your blood pressure might spike while reading this but I think that both the character development and the green flag ML are really worth it. A big bonus is the cutesy corgi!
