I have never heard of child labour or that a developed economy like china with its's population needs child labour to fill its's industrial workers gap, and about people disappearing when they talk bad about China, it happens in my country too so I can't judge not that it is a good thing though, and about espionage, bro every country with a certain level of military and economical power engages in that, the funny thing is that I am not even saying this to defend China or whatnot, i don't really care about any other country but mine, it is just that western nations especially the USA spread a lot of propaganda about China and Russia and I have close friends schooling and living in those countries who have told me that most of those things are lies, so unless you have been to China or seen those things you mentioned on social media like we see with North Korea, they yeah in my opinion it is just propaganda telling you how they want you to see them.

Suffer from what exactly, China is not north Korea where the people are basically imprisoned and I have quite a few Chinese friends and I have never heard them complaining about life in china, a lot of Europeans and westerners because of propaganda seem to think that people in countries like Russia and China live difficult lives, most of the times the only difference between citizens of a democratic nation and nations like china is that citizens in a democratic nation have freedom of speech and the right to vote and be voted for, just so you know i live in a democratic nation and I can tell you that democracy is a flawed system of government though I still think it is better than communism, and I have seen examples of where people are denied freedom of speech and the right to vote and be voted for either because of ethnicity, race or most of the times because the interest of people in power are not met, another thing to note is that in most if not all democratic nations the rich and powerful control the government and I think that is something most of us citizens in democratic nations know by now. So back to your comment like I said if people in countries like Russia and China are suffering then we would have seen a lot of people trying to leave or escape their suffering like we see in North Korea.
