Because before he discovered his art physique, he still cultivated a bit to Body Refining realm, therefore he chose the most conventional path to do this- which is the sword path- hence he has some form of attainment in it. For something to be classified in the Dao section of the system, even the slightest bit of attainment counts therefore although Sun Ting is really untalented in swordsmanship and has comprehended very little, it still counts and is noted by the System. E.g. Even if you only practised and comprehended a certain Dao for a day it would still be noted down the exact same way a Dao you have practised for a thousand years would. P.S- In order to cultivate, you are required to take a certain Dao Path. Hope that makes sense and cleared things up.

I'm still not 100% sure what to do with the upload schedule, but probably at least 2 a week or something along those lines. Patreons/premium users would receive extra chapters as soon as I have made them without having to wait. But this is still just in the future, and for now I'll just stick to what I'm doing currently by making and releasing chapters whenever I can and feel like it.

Since this is a endless reincarnation novel it is inevitable that he will have to train a lot, though I'll try to change it up most of the time so it doesn't get overly repetitive. However after multiple worlds, training like this won't be overly crucial as he would have had many of his skills developed and have gained experience with how to improve himself most efficiently. Plus I will make sure to make varied events in other worlds for the most part. The only reason it is currently training--> tournament--> training--> small progress is because Bu Cai is in a Clan and has to fully focus on his own improvement to go against Long Tian and to live up to the expectations of the Clan, but in other worlds he wouldn't be as restricted as this and therefore multiple different events would happen. He will be able to change his misfortune by getting universe energy (which he gets from saving a universe by killing the Fortuned One) and using it through the system to buy benefits such as reducing the effect of misfortune on himself. Other ways of getting universe energy or helping reduce his misfortune could be implemented in the future, but currently that is the only way. Interesting Idea, I was mainly intending to leave Bu Cai as an only Child (At least for a longer time). However It may be subject to change, depends on how I am feeling. But even if it doesn't happen in this Universe, I plan to let him experience a large variety of different families and lives, as he goes from one to another, So he will have siblings at one point.
