Although that one was a bit understandable since Unalaq was also an Avatar of sorts, what happened next basically killed any hope Korra could have of getting stronger. Raava was destroyed. The Avatar spirit that had guided all the past avatars and reincarnated with them since the first Avatar Wan for thousands of years was actually destroyed for the first time in Korra's hands. As a result, despite finally defeating Unalaq, all the experiences of the past life Avatars were completely wiped off. Meaning, All the past avatars, Aang, Roku, Yangchen, Kyoshi, Wan...... practically had their own spirit marks erased completely. This directly cut her combat power in half. Because what makes the Avatar state so powerful is the combination of two things. The combined fighting and bending experience of hundreds of past lives, as well as the vast amount of powerful chi granted by the avatar spirit Raava. Avatar Roku was so adept at firebending that he could disintegrate steel cuffs with nothing but pure heat energy without hurting those being trapped with it. He treated his firebending like Airbending, and now all that unrivaled experience is gone. Basically Korra is now starting back from square one. This honestly truly annoyed me as Aang was literally my favorite avatar character. In part one, she had her bending removed by Amon. That was fine, at least there was still Aangs spirit to bring her lost bending back, as a result, on part two, the Avatar spirit was destroyed. No more past lives experience to come to her aid. And that laid the groundwork for how weak she became in season 3. The Avatar was captured by Zaheer and almost killed again, this time, they wanted to erase the Avatar completely to stop the reincarnation process. It was so bad that she had to forcibly suppress the Avatar state so they wouldn't kill her immediately she did and end the reincarnation cycle. The Avatar state, an Avatars greatest weapon was suddenly turned into a liability. And don't get me started with Kuvira. But there are reasons to justify why things seem that way. For one, Aang didn't face the type of enemies she faced. Aang's major antagonist's were Zuko, Azula and Ozai. I wouldn't know how he would fair against a group of master bendings like Zaheer and his gang or a dark Avatar like Unalaq but there's the difference. In the last Airbender, Aang only got stronger and stronger as time passed but it didn't seem the same way with Korra. She just kept suffering one setback after another and grew weaker with each season. For me, Season 1 was actually the best to let you know how I feel Followed by season 3, Season 4 and lastly Season 2 God, season 2 was horrible and left a bad feeling in my heart. All the past Avatars.... Gone. I shake my head. I really hope they do a new Avatar though.

Depends how you mean respect. For me, the show was acceptable, but when compared to The Last Airbender, I personally feel it was way off in terms of entertainment quality. So when you mean respect do you mean concerning her strength, attitude, character.... or everything?

😶😲😯😯 First time I'm reading you saying something good about my fic.

I can't rewrite the story. I briefly tried but gave up because it takes too much time and energy. plus, even if I do, i can't make the story go on much longer. The way I see it, the fic has exhausted its potential to be entertaining because everything that comes after this is kinda predictable. Like the poster of this comment said, the writing style and grammar is fine but it's just not that fun anymore. I understand this because I've been having a lot of Writer's block recently in continuing this.😩😞😞 So....... 🤔🤔with everything I've learned, I'm thinking about starting a new fic. 😶😁 New MC, New character with proper development this time. Not invincible at the start. There won't be any shabby protagonist backstory popping up in the later ends either. The romance can start way earlier😏😏😏 I just haven't made a decision on which universe to start with and what the power ups should be. I'm planning on pushing this one to chapter 160, 180 or 200 at most. Following which, if i still can't give it a proper ending, i'll either drop it or put it on Hiatus. In the process, I'll write out the first thirty to fifty chapters of the New Fic in my Patreon. Have any suggestions on the world? Because i honestly can't decide. Maybe i should open a discord and ask everyone to join in.

Noted. I didn't really start out that great anyway. I'm surprised the fic can get to this point as it is. After all, the rookie mistakes are way too much, So thanks anyway. 🤔🤔🤔 with all the mistakes I've made, perhaps it's time a give a new fic a try. One I've properly thought through before writing. Well, its understandable not everyone will like this. I can understand the part about the MC being unreasonable. But how exactly is he selfish? Is it because he takes care of no one else but himself? If that's the case then please read the synopsis again and find something else that will suit you. I never planned to write about a heroic MC or even an antihero MC. The complete indifference to everything was what i originally had planned so sorry if it isn't to your tastes. Try reading Gotham's Dead end Bar.
