Hina could perceive his familiar scent tickling at her nose, startled by his behaviour but she didn't mind it.

Something heavy clumped at his throat again. Just like last time but the taste was much bitter. More pungent. He pushed it down, feeling a sudden heaviness in his chest as his gaze still lingered at the empty path she had taken. Her small chuckles still drifting in the wind. "Don't worry. I'm sure he's fine. He's not the type to easily get sick" Tanny said dismissively as she went on with her meal, not bothering to worry about her naive elder brother who didn't know how to hide his emotions. For a while, she had known how he felt about Hina. It was pretty obvious; from the way he looked at her to the way he smiled and spoke to her and the way he acted around her. She liked both Hina and Kai individually but she wasn't yet sure how she felt about the two of them being together. Then again, she doubted such a fantasy was even possible. Hina was once married to her father. It was wild to imagine Hina suddenly becoming her brother's wife. She shook the headache-inducing worries away, turning to Hina as she began a burst of questions regarding what Hina was going to wear for the salon.
