You can read the Author's Note at the bottom of the chapter first. It explains the changes to MC's background.
And Isaac immediately recognized that man as the owner of the voice that administered the previous test, even though his voice sounded a little different in person.

Scientific babble. Buildup of lactic acid is normally called 'soreness', not fatigue, I believe. But that's just semantics. Basically what this is about is that healing WITHOUT adaptation doesn't cause growth. Reducing soreness/fatigue/muscular damage after exercise through CERTAIN methods reduces the potential muscle gains and the growth stimulus; that's a fact. Anyway, the point is that if the muscle damage is fully *recovered* to the original state thanks to Magic, most of the stimulus for growth should also disappear. But it doesn't happen. Logically, it *probably* doesn't make sense. We can use excuses that after exercise certain hormones remain that promote growth (which Healing magic alone wouldn't remove) and that certain genes were activated from exercise, but that's *probably* only a minor part of a growth stimulus normally. Only a sports scientist could answer this in detail, but I feel it's right. Simply, when muscles become magically restored to 100% health, there is *little* reason for them to grow anymore. But it doesn't happen here, because *Magic*.
It is the same way when athletes on Earth use ice baths after training. Studies proved that doing this does indeed reduce fatigue and post-exercise muscle soreness, but it simultaneously reduces muscle gains.

True... Though it's nothing erotic here. Young female dwarves are simply the best students to teach Earth Magic.
That was not to create a degenerate loli harem, but to take them on as my disciples and begin teaching them silent Earth magic!

Yeah, speed is king
Afterwards, Paul began showing me various sword moves in a slightly disorganized manner.

Yes, I watched it at half the speed and also paused at certain frames. I can see the illusion of light green color when running at normal speed or when slightly slowed down, but not really at paused frames - then I would just call it a kind of yellow. I guess it would vary from person to person. That white color is slightly dull too, might sometimes give the illusion of white-cyan at a faster speed for me, but when slowed down and when pausing frames, I would also call it whitish. But I can't see any true blue at any moment. I guess we can call it blue-violet (which is basically light purple) that transforms into purple. This would make the most sense, because it's even in line with the colors of flames. For the final progression of: Red -> Orange -> Yellow -> White -> Blue-Violet -> Purple.
Well, I think now it's obvious that MC's personal abilities as a magus related to Ainsworth would be some kind of self-taught Displacement Magic, except that with limits. After taking over Mordred's body and after coming into the Tower, he can develop those abilities as the ability to bend space, teleport and use Arie swordsmanship that relies on basically teleporting the sword strikes through space. It's a bit harder to think of the abilities he might *practically* have at the start as a noob and how he'd develop them, though.
Yep, I should reword it to: It's unlikely that I will *often* use a longsword in the future.
Part2: In this story Clarent would be overpowered, because a part of MC's potential and wish is Mordred's spirit that's connected to his body, acting as a kind of 'Devil' in the Tower like the Blue and White Thryssa, or the Devils of the two brothers from the Workshop. The MC can also have a devouring Shinsoo quality like Bam that he will later discover, allowing him to copy skills and to allow him infinite growth (due to his wish to have infinite potential for growth). It would also allow him to have the strongest kind of Shinsoo quality, maybe related to his ability of Rebellion.
Because Rudeus's gatling gun has long barrels, I simply assume they need to be like that. Then, for each wand added in, the connecting mechanism would logically grow in size and weight until the point of what Rudues has with 6 wands. But logically, perhaps you're right. After all, we have magic circles inscribed on top of paper. But maybe a long barrel would still help with that spell, who knows, since Magic Tools often seem to take on fitting shapes for their purpose rather than simply being runes with magic circles inscribed on them. Or perhaps they need to be long if we want to combine two and more that shoot in the same direction, and then add in a mechanism that connects them. I only think that with copying how things are in canon, we can't go wrong.
