Included a variety guns, swords, staffs and throwing stars. This would be incorporated into his fighting style in the future. As well as learning how to counter enemies using all kinds of weaponry later on.

fun fact: when concrete absorbs moisture (if you didn't know, that's what it does to harden) it can cause chemical burns on human skin. so if for example if your buried in a tub of concrete then you can die of the burn before you can suffocate

the story overall is pretty decent, but it can be a little inconsistent at times. I will not elaborate.
Symbiotes won't use energy like that naturally unless they copy it from a host (unless Prime can because he is special and you just didn't say anything). symbiotes like Venom for example are usually used like living power armor to protect and enhance the host in every physical sense. that's also why you see symbiotes make weapons from their body like Carnage and Riot did in the movies because their abilities at birth are purely physically based
