In that world, and no training at all? Apparently he used to be a hero-glazing moron! Self-defence level -100!
However, the original owner's previous goal was not to be a Hero, and he did not like fighting and killing, including training.

Totally wrong!!! Overwhelming AU vibes!!!
Ezaki Kitazawa's Quirk, however, is an emitter-type, so Aizawa Shouta's Quirk was ineffective against him.

Umm, incorrect. I'll chalk it off being AU.
Alex grabs the demon woman's head and starts absorbing her remaining energy. In the end, Curse or Magic, they all are fueled by Ethernano. It only changes to match their abilities, but the basic energy for Curse and Magic is still Ethernano.

Nah, Matatabi is the smart one. Alex is indeed very dumb, basically Kurosaki Ichigo 2.0. When it comes to instincts MC is OP, but the moment it gets even remotely complicated he crashes out. I also suspect the goddess might have done one or both of these things: 1. Dumbed him down. 2. Crippled him to be unable to use other magic, so he stays fully (as possible) dependant to the magic she gave him, preventing "variables" in her experiment.
After all, Makarov knows that Alex isn't stupid and won't just fight the examiners although he doesn't know that the smart one is Matatabi who gives advice to Alex. Either way, he knows that Alex will avoid direct fights, unlike most of his idiot Guild Mates.

Agreed, big L.
The horror of his situation weighed heavily on him. He could feel it pressing down, suffocating him.

What can I say. Moron MC wasting ton of time being in delusional denial instead of doing something about it. I get the idea of MC not being perfect and getting better as time goes on, it's called character progression, but that's too much. And no, being unfamiliar with the 'system' isn't viable excuse considering he spent time looking at every tab. I understand that he's not supposed to be genius, but giving him 'Patrick the Star' level of intelligence is a bit much!

Yeah, just great!!! Ignoring your problems until they grow to unimaginable proportions and bite your ass!!! Moron MC!!! Mongrel MC!!! L MC!!!
'Just stay calm. Bury it all and keep a cool head.'

Ignoring problems doesn't make them disappear. I understand not making MCs super genius for the sake of future character development, but making them that dumb is a bit too much. At this point he should be way past denial.
No matter how much he ate, his hunger never seemed to wane, a troubling realization he tried to ignore.

Get well soon!
Bruh, such a moron thought! Being villain means many bad things. Here are some examples: 1. You kiss your social life and capability to move around freely goodbye 2. If point 1 wasn't enough, here's some more! When you eventually get stronger, you'll catch AFO's attention. There are 2 possible outcomes to that after he fails to steal your 'quirk': 2.1. You become Nomu material (bad ending) 2.2. You get conscripted. (bad ending)
Some people may say that if you want to meet someone who becomes stronger, it's not that simple, just become a villain!
