Good idea to go to the wise man and prevent his assassination. 1 head is good, but two are better and three (count demigod Rafael) are even better.
Run, Rue. Run!
A man of culture, I see. However, I liked the Ashbringer version more.
Two main questions: 1.Why reveal itself (the being that talked about unfortunate soul) at this exact point of time? Why not bit by bit after each evolution? What makes this one special? 2. Why the system acted differently during this evolution? Is this connected to the revelation?
After seeing the gif, I hope, you didn't want to loose your head in the process, skeleton.
Well, I really expected DK earlier and was fine with it. BUT after introducing an option of dullahan. Not only it brings a new prospect to an undead that many not mention or know, but it solves three problems (1. Mobility. Horsy boy that could be an upgrade for Skullclaw which many liked or a new summon can be both a battle advantage and an increase the movement speed. Reminder, Danzel is currently in the dessert that wasn't properly discovered. 2. Survivability, So far, Danzel was on the brink too many times. Aside from lich phylactery that he could literally place in the middle of conveniently placed desert, so noone can find it, the dullahan provides the best survivability. I mean, just protect the head or put it somewhere nearby and your body will regenerate. Or just throw it away if the enemy would try to self-explode. 3. Much less known. As was said, few can become a dullahan, so fewer know how to fight them or what are their weaknesses.) that Danzel has, while DK only one that is runesmithing that he can fix by himself with time... PAIN.
[Lich]:Magic caster's who either cast their mortality away by crafting the so-called phylactery and putting their soul in or Lesser Liches. They are considered the kings of the dead with their mastery of magic, especially those of the Dark Arts such as Necromancy.

Reminds of Lord Marrowgar
[Gravekeeper]: a rare type of Undead who infused its body with the fallen undead to increase its dead mana. Each collected body has a chance of enabling the skill for the Gravekeeper to use. They are known for being masters of weapons with terrifying strength that have as many lives as they have skulls in their chests. Although their absorption of dead mana makes them stronger, that brings them to lose a large part of their mana senses from their own mana, making them unable to cast complicated spells.

Found out that I forgot to comment on that.
'What a terrifying precognition he has. Moreover, how did he know that those three carriages would come to this exact location at 7.19? I wouldn't be shocked if he turned himself into our 'Teacher' one day and fooled us all.' But she had confidence in her ability to differentiate between this young man and her Teacher.
