Nah, that's a greedy monster/villain we are talking about here and there is no harem anyway. So falling in love or giving his life for someone useless won't happen. The romance is basically a build-up for his final transformation and his goal for the final volume.

Why should you read this? Because there is no dragging or fillers. Unique settings and storyline. The story is focused on Clifford's journey and his cultivation. No power creeping. No harem, no smut, and so little romance. Unhinged overoveroveroveroveroverpowered villain MC. Aaaaaaaaand people getting eaten alive here and there.
