I theoretically did not need to take in any more Spinda since I had enough of them already for any Spinda evolution ideas I had, but I ended up losing the inner struggle each time, so whenever we came across some Spinda, the population in Utopia rose by that amount. In the end, I decided that it was the near uniqueness of Spinda due to their spot patterns that made them worth collecting.

Parvati happily slap happy on her new punching bag Aggron
Parvati gave Aggron or Cooper no time to get its/their bearing and followed up with a Brick Break right to Aggron's nogging, which ended up being too much for the steel behemoth, resulting in its knockout. Parvati happily buzzed through the air as the referee declared Aggron unable to battle and her the victor. I briefly felt happy at her victory, deeming it the completion of the first Duke battle, but then I heard the referee order Cooper to recall his Aggron and ready his final combatant, which had me remember that Duke battles, the challenge ones included, were 5-vs-5 and not 4-vs-4.

Still, being able to watch them duke it out like this would have been any fighting enthusiast's dream. It was a shame they couldn't see it, but at least I got to enjoy the show. Regardless, as it was with every battle, there had to be an end, and in this case, Tyson prevailed over Hariyama. My guy raised his arms into the air to celebrate his victory once the referee declared him the winner before flashing me a Guy Pose, which had me chuckle.

Optimus slowly become a monster because of Mothras influence
The powerful beams produced by Spit Up posed no real risk for Optimus who was able to evade them thanks to the Tailwind and Quiver Dance he set up while Swalot was busy with its own setup. Its elevated defense, general vitality, and Swallow on the other hand proved to be a nuisance since they allowed Swalot to endure a lot. Honestly, had it not been for Safeguard Swalot probably would have been able to grind Optimus down once it managed to poison him.

Still, since the girls wanted one, I would try to see if I could find two Luvdisc with good potential for them. While I knew that both Jessie and Rose would not really care about their potential since both wanted the heart-shaped fish for their visual appeal, I could not and would not hand out Pokemon with shitty potential to them; At least not if I had a choice.
