Okay, I'm at 2000 chapter +. Honestly the novel is long/slow at times, but as it's not all the time it's okay. Sunny? At the beginning, he is really a slave (that's the title of the novel xD), finally he manages to get out of it, even if it takes a long time, nevertheless the character evolves a lot, after all we start from a "rat of the slums", to become one of the 6 strongest people in the world. Nephis? At the beginning, she is a little empty, but this is explained several times that she has difficulty showing her feelings, this improves later. The other characters also have good development. For the moment I'm just looking forward to the sequel, especially since it's starting to be very, very interesting. Also I want to say, that this is not a "hero" novel, the world is broken (perhaps even more than LOTM), we just follow "simple humans" who try to fight the nightmare spell and its monsters, without themselves becoming one
the chapters are of correct size, the fact is that MC does everything he can to have a maximum of resources, finish the system quests, recover everything that is necessary for a long boat trip, in addition we follow some other POV too
