Asarti transformed into something that could be called a counterpart of a God. Something so evil that it put everyone in fear, petrified by her appearance that could bring extinction to all life. Her transformation was incomplete, only the top half of the body could be created because it lacked energy.
"I don't want to die like this..." Rigel's trembling voice because of the mix of emotions that ran through his mind, lying in the middle of a desolate street, his gaze fixed on the ominous creatures soaring through the sky. "My whole life has been a nightmare. It has been relentless, and now, dying like a rat..." he continued, his body trembling from broken limbs as he fought to endure the excruciating pain.
As Earth faced an unprecedented cataclysm, overrun by nightmarish creatures, mythical demons, and unending chaos, salvation arrived in the form of the enigmatic [Player System] Selected individuals, known as [Players] were granted the power to confront these monstrous threats. Their journey towards strength began within mysterious towers scattered across the globe, where they endured trials orchestrated by an inscrutable system.
However, for Rigel, destiny took a cruel turn as he aspired to become the hero of his own life. The system deemed him unworthy, stripping him of his [Player] status and casting him back to Earth, now a world overrun by monsters. Survival became an unrelenting struggle, and death lurked at every corner. Yet, he clung to life, enduring 5 long years that felt like an eternity. In the end, he couldn't escape death and he was standing in front of the death's door.
"If there's anyone... anyone that can hear my pain, please grant me a wish..." Rigel's voice weakened as his eyes started to shut off. "I want the world to feel my pain..." He said as he started to lose consciousness.
Suddenly, darkness enveloped him, transporting him to a forbidden and forgotten pocket of reality.
"I will grant your wish. I will take you back to where it all began," a soothing woman's voice whispered into Rigel's ear. "But what can you offer in exchange for this wish?" Her words sent shivers down Rigel's spine.
"Everything. I will give you everything," Rigel responded, his determination unwavering, even in the face of the unknown abyss.
"Rigel Eclair DeMargt. I want your soul and your body..." The woman's voice carried a sinister tone, and Rigel could almost sense the grin on her face. "I will make you invincible, immune to death's touch. In return, the more you faced death, the less of you would remain, yet you would grow stronger," her words were chilling, yet strangely comforting.
"I don't care..." Rigel declared with unwavering determination.
"Then follow my voice, and you will have your wish granted," The woman's voice was going away from Rigel's ear.
Rigel opened his eyes and realized that people were murmuring around him, their gaze fixed on a coffin placed inside a freshly dug grave.
"I've returned..." Rigel furrowed his eyebrows as he observed the scene before him—the final resting place of his mother that happened five years ago. "And today is the day everything begins," he looked at the sky as he clenched his fists.
After Mykel Alester returned from the world of his novel he destroyed, he returned to his real world with questions in his head. He thought that he would have a normal life again after he moved on even though he was an Omnipotent God in his novel world, but to his surprise, all the characters in his novel followed him to his real world.
Knowing it was possible and how his world became similar to his novel's because of them, he decided to take back his Omnipotent powers. Little did he know that it awoke the creator of his world, the being that ruled over the universe who had been observing silently. Not only that, the Gods of the mythologies and powerful characters from his novel that were his followers had turned against him and changed sides.
To his surprise, he lost the war and became powerless because he realized that he was no match for the being who created the universe.
"The Lord has given his words," An angel said as he slowly looked down at Mykel. "By the Lord's grace, you're given a chance to repent for you who have brought chaos to Earth," he continued and stared Mykel in the eye.
Mykel scoffed and asked with a trembling voice, "Repent? It wasn't me who brought the chaos in the first place."
"You're welcome to stay here for eternity," The Angel said with a smirk and kept staring Mykel in the eye. "The Lord showed you mercy, not only you, but those who don't belong to this world that the Lord created," he continued and looked at Jeanne and the others.
"Mercy?" Mykel asked with his eyebrows raised. "Of course, I'll accept the offer," Mykel said with a bit of a smirk on his face.
...
"He lied," The angel said.
"We know, and the Lord knows as well," Another angel replied. "But whatever he's going to do down there, he will face the consequences of his actions. It's not our job to judge, we only follow orders," he continued.
...
With all the knowledge that he had and the "Game" that he created in his novel, he decided to climb up with his companions of the characters in his novel. His only purpose was one, and that was to destroy the world and prepare to challenge his creator.
(This is a sequel to my novel "Destroying My Own Movel" and I suggest you read that first)
In a world where everyone was gifted an opportunity to devour everything in front of them, but what if that opportunity was out of reach? And suddenly a being that they called a God came down and gave everyone a spoon so they could reach them and devour them?
Everyone devoured all those opportunities and satiated their greed. Power, wealth, you name it. But there was a person who could only watch those people satiating themselves with a spoonful of power and wealth. So, he prayed to that so-called God.
"Please! Just give me an opportunity just like the others, God! Even if it's just a tiny bit! I would really appreciate it!" A young man with messy long gray hair asked God with tears in his eyes as he watched the people around him being killed by Otherworlders.
[You have been chosen]
[God has gifted you the power to devour all opportunities!]
[Welcome, Candidate Alseace LaRoze]
"You're kidding, right?" Alseace asked in a trembling voice and forced a smile as he stared at the ability God gave him. "What the fuck am I going to do with this?!" He shouted at God who gave him the ability and glared at the cloudy night.
While everyone was given a normal spoon, Alseace LaRoze was given a spoon with a giant hole that even a grain of sand would be hard to pick off with it.
Alseace chuckled in disbelief and started laughing as the people around him screamed in agony.
"You gave me an ability called Leftover?! Don't joke around!" Alseace screamed his lungs out.
[God gave you what you wished for, be grateful]
Everyone must have a few regrets in their lives, and for Mykel regret was publishing this novel on the internet. Because of this failed novel he wrote, made his career down the hill as an author. Thanks to this novel, he lost his passion and he lost everything that he had.
"I wish I can destroy this novel so that nobody will be able to see it or remember it anymore," Mykel said.
That was what he wished for, and for some reason, he went inside that novel of his and as himself in the story that didn't suppose to exist?
Mykel smirked and grinned as he looked at the system.
[You are the creator of this world, you will have the access to the command system. You are free to do anything as long as it is listed in the command system]
[Please enjoy and have fun]
"Heh, then I will turn this world upside down," Mykel said as he glared at the notification in front of him.
