No, the item let’s Jack respawn without penalty from dying anywhere. He respawns in a safe zone at that. He just then would wait out the cooldown on the item before leaving the safe zone.

It’s a trade off but not a stretch with how this is phrased. Maybe try to give a bit of wiggle room rather than just complaining. Or, write a novel, we can have fun with that.
