I disagree a bit with it not mattering when labeling a story as having a certain gender main character regardless of the gender of the main character. People will have reading preferences, and one of those could be having a more relatable main character. However, when said label is used regardless of whether a reader cares about the gender of the main character in determining what to display ... I can hardly blame an author for trying to better reach the intended demographic with it. It will be annoying for anyone trying to search through said stories, but I would sooner blame the platform in that case. As for sensitive ... maybe? I lean towards no, though. Regardless, thank you for writing this story. So far, I at the very least am enjoying it.
