Yeah, I call BS on this treatment method. Maybe this would work if it was ghost, but Tsunade's fear of blood stems from being powerless to help her dead loved ones. Making a long time medical professional see blood in a "controlled" environment isn't going to fix that, imagine if Shizune got stabbed and Colt wasn't there. It would be a totally different experience because there is an actual sense of danger. In the original, the only reason she got over her trauma was because she realized that if she did nothing another person was going to die because of her.
Having them say the name of their moves each time makes me imagine that they have the 3rd grade syndrome lol.
