Yeah, I find this a bit ridiculous too. It hasn't even been a full day in game and what seems like a bunch of rich folks/guilds are already fully equipped even though outside money supposedly can't be used in the game. I can only think of three reasons off the top of my head. 1. The game has been going on for a lot longer and they were able to go in early (perhaps as beta testers). 2. The game isn't just a game and the rich were given a chance to go in before the rest of the masses. 3. Even though the game claims to be "fair", people from the wealthy district were dropped in far better starting areas than others and were given a lot of information beforehand.
