Gosh, I love the MC’s shenanigans. It’s so fun and entertaining. Also very unique, I don’t see much MC’s who are like this. Most are either too into it to the point that it just seems like they’re humiliating themselves just to crack a joke or they’re too dark and edgy to even show some sort of expression. Shame that the characters are trying to get rid of this interesting aspect.

Such an obvious plot convenience. If the ninja is slow enough in his eyes, then he should have been fast enough to get in between them even if Ino stepped in. How did Ino even manage to get there before he could stop her? She should be moving as slow, if not slower than the Jonin, so her suddenly getting in between them without him stopping her is indirectly saying that she’s either faster than the Jonin or the MC wanted her to get hit. It’s just stupid.
The veins in the man's head started to pop out, his face turning a bright shade of pink. Without any warning, the man charged towards Goro, ready to strike him. Goro was prepared for the attack. To him, it looked as if the man was running in slow motion. As Goro prepared to counter, Ino jumped in between them and ended up being the victim of the man's assault.
