"Damn it!" I heard Ares yell, before the lights were turned off, and my thoughts came to a complete halt as my body went limp.

"Sounds like some hair-brained idea cooked up by some crappy writer with an overactive imagination." I chuckled.

ehhhy, 51 minutes, I'm actually early to the chapter for once 😂
I'll be honest, I'm not one for writing reviews or giving reasons on why I think something is good and worthwhile. All I can really say is that this Fanfic is really, really good. Most diablo fanfics I have seen (not too many) go one of three ways, a Diablo Game System where mc, in some other world, can do diablo Dungeons. A diablo fanfiction where there aren't any game elements and must learn each of his skills with time, effort, and dedication. And finally, Diablo fanfics where it's basically just a dude playing a game like it's SAO, without any decent backstory being written for the "NPC's." In this fanfic, I suppose it's a good mix of the final two, in all the best ways, of course. The MC does have a "system", hell a good chunk of the npc's do too, quests and Dungeons are done in a way that makes sense rather than "dungeon here, enemies baaaaad, baal and other demons do for fun!" For example, Sanctuary (the system I previously referred to) and hell have some form of currency relating to souls, souls are valuable to the demons because it is for their wealth, almost like business tycoons purchasing smaller businesses to increase profits. For the sanctuary, it's almost like a tower defense, the sanctuary needs this resource to increase the chances of humanity's survival and our MC is currently it's biggest investment, so much so that he is stuck in permadeath mode because Sanctuary simply CANNOT afford to let him revive in Dungeons like the other Wanderers (NPC's with systems I mentioned previously as well). Overall, this is a really, really good quality fanfiction. I'd say the only criticism I have is that at times it feels like there is excessive filler, like 10 chapters dedicated on the MC just fighting in Dungeons to experiment with his build / level up. It's not an issue for me personally, but I know for a fact that it can be far less appealing to other readers who prefer a faster story progression over this slow burn that others, such as myself, enjoy. Once again, great fanfiction and easily a 10/10 in my books!

"He took another wife, from a special tribe. This tribe is known for their blue eyes and white hair. They are said to be originally from the Northern continent, but half of them migrated. And this tribe has a prophecy of a child who can see all things. A male child that would be born with the ability to see the fabrics of reality. Of course, all of these were just old tales."
