Gotta be honest, I really could not care less about any of the countries in this story. I barely care about the secondary characters who are martial artists, let alone political stuff. Rui is the only one I care about at all, and even that is less about his character and more that I want to see how he hits Sage and Transcendent and beyond. Can't wait to get back to that.
holy shit my eyes. Great chapter
Wow, it must really, really suck down here for Anthony to give the termites praise, even if just by comparison
Don't think that I'm looking at nice, furrowed rows of rich, brown earth for a second. That's not how things work in the fifth. They were growing mould, but not in a cool way like the termites were, but in a gross, stinking, slimy way. Yuck!

Congrats!
Yeter needs a reality check, something to get him to mature. I don't think I'd want him at my back, frankly, even if he is a good friend.
okay, that makes enough sense for me. thanks for the reply!
I do have a question: if cultivating the physique robs you of your emotions, shouldn't a sect elder (who I would presume would be further along in their cultivation than most disciples, especially the First Elder) be even more emotionless? Do familial bonds transcend that? Otherwise why does she care so much?
I'm very much waiting to see how this one ties in to the greater LitOW universe, if it does. Zephyx levels and powers seem too close to cultivation to not be related, at least to me.
Anyone who would act like Treeda in any circumstance should not have anything to do with governance. If she's a decision maker, I would leave.
very clever
