chapter 4, they were going to use flu, but Axel insisted on apparition. I suppose depending on how you read it, but they travel with a "*snap*" so I'd say apparition. maybe he's saying he hasn't done it himself and that being a ride along (and new to magic) is different?
Axel had no idea what she was talking about. "I have never experienced Apparation either." It's just not something he could learn at Hogwarts due to the wards.

well, to be fair, with a godly advisor AND a cheat ability that let's him get rewards that would normally appear mid-to-late game... his strength is about right. and not to forget that the author hinted that the hero class isn't necessarily the strongest out there. does our guy even have a class yet?

not saying no because talking snakes but couldn't it be just because he's a Potter? a small soul connection could easily translate things, but making big changes to a soul is a different matter. food for thought.
Though I never admitted to it, Harry's magic was actually a bit denser compared to mine. It means that his normal Expelliarmus would be more powerful than my own normal Expelliarmus. So, I was always a bit salty about it, even though with concentration, I can produce an Expelliarmus much, much powerful than what Harry would be able to cast. And that is without using trigger, just by my ability as to feel the magic and some use of intent through occlumency.

great idea, OP main character, I really got into the story. but... it ended suddenly. while I wish things could have progressed farther and seen more growth in the story, it's a nice change of pace from other novels here that go on for eternity.
in some eastern cultures, that's a blessed number. it's common to see strings of 6's and 9's and I think 8's as good will.
