If you watched the show you know that he can control the weather so the sun wouldn't be able to reach it. On top of that the guy can make swords that can flash freeze swords so fast they just break like dry spaghetti so what material would be able to hold him reliably for long, especially because as we just learned that even most magical materials wouldn't function properly.
We delved into potential weaknesses - Valyrian steel, dragonglass - but Vaylara remained skeptical about their effectiveness against the Night King himself. And it wasn't like I had any Valyrian steel lying around anyway. I had some dragonglass, so I could test that out at least.

Because he had the easiest rule of all the Targaryen kings and while he did a lot of good for the realm he forgot to do the most important task and of being a good father. He made the exact same mistake that allowed and even forced Maegor to take power. He treated his children as his vassals and lords while he should have been a father that thought them how to rule and be loyal to to the family. And while he was right not to let Rheanys be the heir he should have thought Viserys better.

"I advise you to bring Robb and your future children up in the ways of the North. Many lords have been angered by the fact that their lord's wife was a southerner who worshipped other gods. Especially after the construction of the church in the centre of Winterfell. If this continues, you may hear many whispers that Lord Stark can't tame his own wife."
