I'm honestly more curious which route you were going. Like I said, a more simplistic band would match her personality, but the bigger ring is what society would expect.

Not to criticize, but a baguette is a small stone by nature. Using it in the description of the ring makes it sound like a fairly simple band without a center focal point. Although this would fit Raelle's personality, given both their status, I assume the ring would have a large diamond in the center, perhaps emerald cut. Love the characters and their interactions though. 😍

Thank God Suyin seems to be calming down. Considering everything she has done to avenge her child (including letting her cousin be murdered in her place instead of stopping the plot), if rules were reversed she would have done exactly what Wang Shi did.
