to me, it started since he killed Huo Yuhao. Dude started being unreasonable there. I mean, MC literally accused Yuhao a bunch of stuff he didn't committed, and killed him, with the main reason of the Sect Leader of the sect mistakenly thought of Yuhao as a succesor of Ice God, and even Promised him anything for help and support including cultivation resources, even sending his own daughter to him as a love trap, despite Yuhao telling from the beginning that he wasn't the inheritor. all of it was blamed on him with other bunch of stuff he didn't committed once he set foot in the sect.
