Magellan is literally just doing his job as a prison warden, and Luffy has never really killed anyone for doing their job...if Magellan actually killed one of his wives or nakama there would no know questions...we would see a "blood for the blood god" sitch real quick, but this Luffy just doesn't kill entirely for no reason.

I had an idea, like what if his territories especially the ones in the east blue are under attack, how will he get back in time to help?... What if he used his more more fruit to shrink/reduce the distance between him and objects/locations? Technically it should be possible, maybe even before devil fruit awakening. Just some food for thought.

it'd would be 100x more scary to reduce the mass making the attack almost invisible then increase the speed when if or when he can start applying two stacks from his more more fruit...aim for the head...
"Hahahaha, I guess I did go overboard; I didn't even know it could get so big..." Luffy was a bit embarrassed while the ship was inside the curtain of vapor created by the attack, realizing how exaggerated the explosion was.
