a character with such an obvious flaw, being painted in a way that seems contradictory by the author is amusing to me. in particular with Luke as a character, it spoke volumes of his unprepared manners, his insecurities and thinly veiled self absorbance, it just draws a story of fates's attempt to rectify what is already rotten. he will run and tumble, over and over as fate wills it, his will bending to the laws of a pen. it oddly satisfy me when iIsee characters like this.
