funnily enough the ottoman empire was one of the longer standing empires. But yes its fall would be due to it not having even a single common language for its people let alone other areas
And those weaknesses were the fact that both the Ottoman Empire and the Austro-Hungarians were multicultural and multi-ethnic societies. Which throughout history had proven to be among the weakest and least stable societies ever built.

compared to people who have i dont know LITERALLY CONQUERED vast swaths of land. yes just a simple education is not enough. The man is intelligent enough to ask questions and mindful to know he isnt the smartest in the room. Thats highly intelligent if you are a commander
