I apologize, I was just offended by the words "hit in the ribs" in relation to a child. In essence, the background concerns how MC quickly discarded his mentality of a modern person and beats children without a twinge of conscience. It is clear that it was a duel and so on, but technically he could have finished the fight with less self-harm. His cheats allow it.
