Some may argue that gravity is the consequence of the curves in the fabric of space-time, but it doesn't change the fact that it is the characteristics of these bodies of mass that define how these interactions are going to happen. To summarize, a field force is still a force, even if the interaction is not direct, the existence of a medium doesn't matter. It's hard to explain such deep concepts in a simple comment, so I'm sorry if it wasn't clear enough.
'Forces are the fundamental energies of the universe. Third Dimensional worlds identify these Forces as Gravity, Electromagnetism, Strong Force and Weak Force. They are in fact correct about these four, however, they are oversimplified.

Well, the tattoo seal in his body is keeping the corruption of the Circle of Inevitability at bay, so he doesn't get any ravings from it. It's like he has only one pathway.
Asians in general associate beards with being old. And thus, they dont't want to have it, after all, who wants to be seen as old? There's also an association of body hair being barbaric, which is very problematic, but who am I to judge.
