The MC is a one dimensional idiot who is meant as a self insert characert which means he has no personalety. The story development is simple and straightfoward but the auther does have some problems remembering what he wrote before so there are some inconsistencies some of them are pretty important.
Love the DB spin off and I hope you continue it even if it just a chapter a week.
