Just write the story you want to write. Ignore those who want to do nothing but complain. Either people will read it or they wont don't let others make you change your story.

personally i think you should just write what you want. every time the writer makes the story based off the whims of the readers it ends early because the writer doesn't enjoy writing the story anymore.
