I think he shouldn't be. He should be the manager (he has experience) and sometimes appear in streams but that's all. He don't strike as someone that would enjoy playing games while talking with the audience. He may do well in the "just chatting" category though. this is more than stupid. 10 people make it to the finals and you make the finals with only 2 win -> only 20 matches are enough to qualify everyone needed. BUT that is unlikely to happen, so let's say there are 4 classes (likely more) of 30 people (again, likely more), that make 120 students. Let's say there were 35 matches before the finals with 2 fighters each time, that is at most 60 people (10 finalist and 20 to fight them (20 fight), and 30 (15 fight) to complete the roaster(20+15=35, math checks out)) fighting. This means that as a student you have a 50% chance of not making it to the finals, not because you didn't win twice, BUT BECAUSE YOU WERE NOT SELECTED EVEN ONCE. HOW CAN A SCHOOL AGREE TO MAKE A TOURNAMENT WITH A SYSTEM AS BROKEN AS THIS?

The chapter isn't confusing because of the part about the past (I think it's actually quite clear), however you change the name of the characters too many times (Anna become Kanna, Ma-Ri is changed to Mi-Ra then to Mira), stick to one name only. Ps: tone down the exposition, the last paragraph is not natural at all.
