I dont know what I was expecting, but the explanation about the suit sounds so dorky. A super powerful being pretending to be a kneepad wearing, elbow pad wielding, mumen rider knockoff.
NO! Wait.............(checks previous chapter) MAYBE!
"I'm calling a out that job that was advertised" INSERT FIFTEEN PARAGRAPHS OF UNRELATED REALTOR INFORMATION HERE "Sure, when can we meet up?" That just happened in this chapter.......
Forced and a little lame The whole 'standing in front of door eavesdropping' gimmick. Having the MC be in some kind of tension/conflict is fun, having the tension/conflict come from the MC being mentally retarded, makes me want to drop the novel.
The worst of both worlds A neglected farm plot plus an abandoned tournament arc. Maybe the author had difficulty coming up with tension or conflict without a badges/tournament arc? I wish I could convince the author that a ranch/farm plot can be exciting and fulfilling too.
Why the interaction with any of them at all? Money? Is it because of pink? Seems foolish and self indulgent, especially after the MC finishes the chapter by listing how much he doesn't like him/the family
This uncertainty about the pokedex is absolutely nonsense. Imagine selling BILLION DOLLAR merchandise, but being afraid that a super convenient and helpful, SUPER advanced piece of technology is 'ridiculously' priced at 10 million.
Jesus, that "shocked silent, so I can't possibly explain the misunderstanding" cliche ive seen in nearly every novel needs to find a ditch a die a slow death.
Everyone is saying 'weak MC', shouldn't it be 'stupid MC' instead? He takes no protection in any form at all, then is also unable to use any of his skills at all? It is a little difficult to read about an MC that has been given incredible powers that he's successfully adapted to and utilized, but is unable to deal with a relatively 'weak' opponent.
This whole novel went off the rails when he got a literal Mcguffin-Mobile. I got a feeling this is the author saying "wouldn't this be cool?" Without consideration to the characters he's made.
