i know it is a bit late but his heart is more than capable to release it if the energy comes from his heart the problem is the veins even wires melt if you pass too much current than designed for. His body is questionable in the first place even a mage with low mana control can cast magic but the price is higher mana capacity due to mana leaks due to strong body from their bloodline at least in other novels but for him his body cannot handle energy without limiters even if the energy comes from the soul itself how can a weak body host a soul as dense or rather much more denser than the sun itself. That in itself is a plot hole already
For a start, a BB unit was never programmed to work with the levels of energy that my body was capable of wielding, so at least for a little while we wouldn't be able to access a lot of that power. If we uncapped my limiters now and expended all my energy it would be similar to overfilling a water balloon, I would go pop and everything around me would get soaked in magical energy which would be bad.

even smallest supernova is still measured by the power of nukes even if it is only a single nuke it can devastate a city with just the explosion alone if we also include aftershock from impact it can cause considerable damage miles a way so the author's math is indeed not much believable

nope i'm not underestimating it just not going to too much details i did not mention a supernova is equivalent to a single nuke just describing the damage cause by a single nuke. And yup even thou i have said the power of supernova is measured in nukes that is just the standard of earth today as it is defined as mankind greatest weapon even in movies though not much helpful in galactic scale . and yes supernova can be that destructive so if we will do a proper calculation we need to scale it down to the fraction of a nuke to make it safe to use. ps note a fraction of a nuke not the power of a nuke since it is still destructive not for tournament or practice
