Chapter 1 had more dialog because of that it was better. And you shouldnt rush with the plot. If you do a time skip, you should say the things that he did in that time fragme. Maybe try reading Tyranny of Steel, if you do like him it would be perfect. But you dont have to write 1000 chapters like him. You can do it shorter.
