I based my numbers on the info you provided, a chapter in 5 minutes would be 12 chapters an hour. 60/5 = 12. Math is hard for you I assume. Also you should clarify better in what you are saying. lastly, a crippling disease can bring with it a slew of mental health issues such as anxiety and depression that can make doing even snall tasks almost crippling.

what novel are you writing where it only takes 5 minutes to write a chapter. if you can write at 12 chapters an hour of high quality story go do it. that's 108 chapters a week if you work just 2 hours a day. full 1300+ chapter novel in 3 months. Dude, just work 8 hours a day and write a full book series every few weeks. millionaire in the making.

Everyone needs to calm down. When the author is able to communicate with us they will. The author clearly cares a lot about this novel and has made it clear they aren't dropping it. I understand the frustration with the lack of communication but they are fighting through a debilitating disease. While many may not understand what its like to be completely focused on a single task for long periods of time, it can cause weeks to fly by without you realizing it. i imagine they aren't purposely ignoring the novel but have so much else going on that time has just gone by without them realizing it.
