章 6: {Chapter 6: Hire Notice & Gambling For A Beauty.}
The next day, Hannah and Aerial had forced me to relax. I didn't fight them about it but decided to head to the capital Ristna with Lu. I am still confused about Gillian demanding to rent a VIP room for the next year last night. Not only that, she payed for the others as well. Just like that, I made 30 Gold Coins.
The capital was bustling with people as the morning sun arrived. With nothing better to do, I did some shopping. First, I bought a phone for both Hannah and Aerial while adding them to my service plan. Then, I went to a pet store and got a collar for Lu that had a little bell on it. Next, I went to a magical artifacts store and bought the best storage ring they had. That itself was 340 Gold Coins but I was probably the richest person in the kingdom, so it was like pocket change to me. Finally, I enjoyed lunch at a café. I got a lot of looks for sharing my meal with Lu but it was mostly people gushing at her adorableness. If only they knew that the little fox could mess with your senses so much that you would throw up. I don't think they would be gushing so much. Done with my own errands, I headed to the cities notice board.
Each large city would have a notice board at its center. Here, people could place papers describing a job that they need to be filled. Anything that doesn't involve the need for adventurers. For that, they would need to create a quest at the Adventurers Guild. However, I would only need normal people for my services. Grabbing a notice form, I sat on a nearby bench and filled it out. When I was finished, I reread the description.
The Sleeping Mug is a recently opened tavern and looking for employees! Currently, we need 2 cooks, 4 waiters or waitresses, 2 stable handlers and a bartender. Benefits involve, personal living quarters for you and/or your family members that live with you, paid health care, a stable salary and a guaranteed weekly salary.
Cooks- 2 days off a week- 10 Silver Coins Per Week.
Waiters/Waitresses- 2 days off a week- 5 Silver Coins Per Week + Tips
Stable Handler- On call- 12 Silver Coins Per Week
Bartender- 2 days off a week- 7 Silver Coins Per Week + Tips

The Sleeping Mug Tavern is located on Travel Road 34- Will provide travel services if hired.
Content with the notice, I attached it to the board and spent some time walking around the city. Eventually, the sun began to set and I found myself in the Red Light District. Woman dressed is revealing clothing started to advertise their establishments offers and the streets slowly filled with people that visited the Brothels, Gambling Rings, Love Hotels and more. It was then that I remembered the Luck Counter and how it was in the millions. With a thoughtful expression, I found myself standing before an establishment called The Golden Pleasure, a 2 in 1 business. It was a Gambling Ring and Brothel put together. With a curious smile, I entered the building and bought 50, 10 Gold Coin Chips with my card. When I found a roulette table, I sat down.
"Heh. Looks like we got a newbie at the table." One bald man wearing an expensive white suite said. At his side was two escorts that were provided by the brothel side to keep him company.
"Good luck, cutie~" A woman wearing an expensive black silk dress and silk evening gloves said as she place her bet.
She had long dark blue hair and green eyes, her cheeks and the bridge of her nose was lightly covered with freckles. Her lips were covered in a shiny black lipstick. By the way she moved, I could tell she was a noble lady or at least was treated like one. Her satin dress left little to the imagination and hug to her perfect curbs superbly. Ignoring the bald man, I winked to the woman and with 4 Golden Chips, I made a Corner bet on 19, 20, 22, 23. The bald man snorted and with 5 Golden Chips, made a Street bet on 16, 17, 18. The woman had made a Corner bet on 10, 11, 13, 14.
"All bets placed, please remove your hands." The dealer spoke up in a slightly monotone voice.
The man pressed a button and the wheel spun. Soon, a white ball fell in and started to bounce around. When the wheel came to a stop and the ball was stuck in place, I was shocked to see it landed on 19. The dealer then handed me 32 extra Golden Chips. I chuckled at the sudden increase and took the chips.
"Hey! You're pretty lucky! Good news for you rookie!" The woman commented cheerfully.
"First times the charm." The bald man scoffed.
"Thanks." I replied to the hot woman and ignored the man who was now fondling the escorts ass in each hand.
This time, I made a street bet on 4, 5, and 6 with 4 more Golden Chips. The woman made a Corner bet on 4, 5, 7 and 8 with 5 Golden Chips. The bald man place 3 Golden chips on the number 6. The dealer repeated himself and spun the wheel. When it came to a stop, it had landed on number 4. The bald man lost again and cursed under his breath before leaving the table. The dealer handed me 44 more Golden Chips and handed the woman 40 more Golden Chips. Afterwards, she turned to me with a smirk.
"Your rather lucky! However, if you keep winning like that, the owners will kick you out at best. In two games, you won 76 Golden Chips or 760 Gold coins. Usually, no one walks out with that much in their pockets. It'd be best to leave with that in consideration. So, how about you treat a girl out to a late night meal?" She eyed me from head to toe as she spoke, getting closer as she asked her question.
"Thanks for the advice. This is my first time in the capital, so it will be up to you to pick where we get our meal at." I nodded to her with a smirk and spoke with a raised brow in a challenging gesture.
"Sure, cutie~. I know the perfect place." She giggled and sauntered away while glancing at me over her shoulder.
I followed after her and we cashed in our chips. After making sure we got our winnings into our back accounts, she wrapped herself around my right arm and directed me out of the establishment. As we walked, I tried to strike up a conversation.
"I haven't gotten your name yet, my name is William." I introduced myself.
"Just William? A man with your money and clothes is not a commoner." She giggled out. "But suuure William, my name is Kate." Her voice dripped with playful sarcasm as she rolled her eyes, nonetheless, I got a name from her.
"Just Kate? A woman with your demeanor can't be a commoner but sure." I teased her.
"Hey! No stealing my lines, mister." She playfully chastised while lightly slapping my arm.
"Sure, sure. So, what do you do for a living?" I asked her after laughing.
"I'm an apprentice Merchant with an unhealthy habit of gambling." She spoke thoughtfully. "What about you? Mr. William~." She returned the question.
"I am the proud owner of a luxurious tavern in the middle of nowhere. It has extremely affordable prices for its services." I answered truthfully.
"You speak like its the best one in the province. If I visited, would I be disappointed?" She probed out.
"I'm not saying that but I will say that if you visited, you'd be back again eventually." I spoke with complete confidence.
"Well, I'll have to drop by one day." She giggled.
Eventually, we arrived at a hotel in the Red Light District that had a restaurant inside it. Kate led me in and we got ourselves a table. Nothing was cheaper than a Gold Coin, even the wines and spirits, but I didn't really care. Given the green light, Kate began to order some of the rather more expensive food items. All in all, she ordered the Giant Golden Lobster Tail with a salad as a side and a glass of Chimera Kiss Wine. I had gotten the raymu steak with a side of fried ridley mushrooms and a glass of Serpents Respite Whiskey.
Lu had long ago ran off and started to explore the capital, so it was just me and Kate. The meal was filled with light flirting, playful teasing and small talk about our lives. The food was amazing but my Dark Maids cooking still over shadowed it. Nonetheless, I enjoyed my meal along side my companion. When we were done eating, both of us had a heavy dose of alcohol in our system. Kate reached over the table and softly glided her fingers over my hand before lightly threading her fingers between mine.
"You know~ I could use a moment of stress relief and I think you could use one as well. So, how about we get a room and help each other out." She purred in a whisper.
"As long as you want to, I don't mind one bit. I'll even pay for the room." I grinned at her, feeling excited about her offer.
"Excellent~." She purred seductively before standing up.
I quickly followed her action and settled the bill of our meal while paying for a room. Getting the keys, Kate used me as a support as we walked up the stairs. Getting to the 5th floor, I hoisted Kate up into a princess carry and bee-lined for our room.
"Hahaha! Someone is a little excited." She laughed out before stealing my lips as we entered the room.
While holding and kissing her, I closed the door with my foot and dropped us both onto the bed. Our tongues danced together in heated passion. Her arms wrapped around my neck as my hands fondled her beasts over her dress. She gasped and lightly moaned into my mouth but never separated our lips. I was excited to realize she wasn't wearing a bra but could feel a cushioned extra layer over her nipples. Kate began to take off my jacket and shirt, our lips only separating for a moment after she unbuttoned my shirt.
I tossed it away as she giggled and began to get her out of that dress. I felt myself throb at the sight of her mostly naked figure. Little round paste covered her nipples and a silky thong hugged her beautiful hips. She giggled at me because I got lost into the sight of her. Without a word, she began to unbutton my pants and I tossed them off with my shoes.
"Let's make tonight wonderful~." She purred to me before dragging me back down and kissing my shoulder, leaving faint black lines of her lips from her lipstick.
