章 15: A plague of unknown births

The cold eastern sky of the kingdom of elvish people still shake the very core of Maria as she never heard of a kingdom run by elves she only knew of camps of elves and the only reason they would even think about becoming a kingdom is if something terrible happened she shivers in disarray from the sound of it "are you still worried" gale said "yes it's just this doesn't feel right the elves would never leave hell even my mother and father before were having second thoughts about leaving and moving to the big city I'm sorry this isn't your problem it's just hard to believe that the elves changed there lively hood" Maria said as chills fell through her body then Maria and Asher hear crying coming down from the stairs "mama he won't stop crying I think he's hungry mama" David said while carrying a baby boy and the baby was crying "hand Arthur over I'll feed him some food and David why don't you go outside and play with your friends plus Katie's outside too" Maria said smiling "ok mama I love you" david said as he walks towards Maria and gives Maria a kiss and Also gives her Arthur then he put on his shoes and sweater and goes outside as Maria looked she smiled and when she grabs the bottle Arthur lowers his crying as he sees the bottle then he drinks the milk down "oh how's that my baby boy you were very hungry do you like the milk sweetheart" Maria said with a smile and kissing Arthur on the forehead "I can't believe after all these months you finally have hair and it's completely cute it goes with your eyes" Maria said as she strokes Arthur's black hair and looks at his blue eyes "mmmmm" Arthur said as he tries to pronounce some words as Maria knew what he was doing she smiled "come on sweetheart you can do it" Maria said as she smiled "mmaa" Arthur pronoun then Maria looked happy and kept on Encouraging Arthur "come on you can do it" Maria said with a smile "mama!" Arthur said with a smile Maria had a even bigger smile she hugged and kissed him "mama!mama!mama!!!" Arthur kept on saying the word until he lost breath and Maria smiled and hugged him more Maria got up and walked to the bathroom and immediately put him in the tub so she can wash him after that she made some food he likes "so boy how does peas and carrots sound" Maria said smiling and looking at Arthur "mama!" Arthur said while smiling then Maria quickly put him down and took out some piece and cutted carrots and made it with potato and as soon as she saw it was done she quickly went to go get David as she got him he sat down Maria then picked up Arthur and sat him down she got 3 bowls and filled each bowl she gave the first one to Arthur then one to David and she put another on her side she quickly sat down and started eating but with a big smile "mama what's going on" David said a tad bit worried for his mother as he knows she lost someone she loved and he didn't want to lose his mother to disappear as he cares dearly for her and her health "your brother.." Maria said with a a bigger smile it was so big her face almost looked like her laughing face well excluding the sound "what about brother" david said even more worried then before "he said mama Arthur talked" Maria said happily "what really he said mama were was I got this" David said surprised "outside" Maria said while pointing at the window "oh I should have stayed" David said while crossing his arms because he wanted to also hear his voice and what he said "don't worry dear I'm pretty sure he will say your name next plus I'm thinking about teaching him more words hey anyway do you both want a bedtime stor-" maria said but was interrupted by a explosion so she quickly ran to the front door "stay hear! What ever you hear do not leave this house until I come back and if I don't go to my study on the bookshelf pull magic and potion it has a beautiful cover ok but only do that if I'm gone for more than a day!" Maria said as she left closing the door behind her and looking at what the explosion was then as she saw a red light reflecting on the shinny Windows she looked up at the sky and there it was a fire storm that had fire disperse in every direction she stranded there until she saw the last piece a huge piece of fire she immediately ran inside and not only took some food and needed stuff she took her kids with her but David was shocked "mama what's happening" david said as he tries to look outside but was quickly stopped by his mother "something in the sky is going towards the old elf camps there were others of course it seemed to have gone in every race that could talk and walk on two feet but I think I know what's it going and why those specific areas but just in case if I'm right we need to prepare to leave!" Maria said worried as she runs up and backpack everything that was small enough as she walks out the door she stopped remembering David's books he runs in quickly and gets it then she looks at the window and sees something the few people who stood outside had fallen most of them were humans as she can only see humans and no elf's then she hears a thump and runs to the source and sees David just like the other people were he was lying there unresponsive Maria quickly grabbed Arthur and moved him towards the side so she can check on David
