The Sage seemed to be happy that she didn't succeed again. 

Violet glared at him after she was hit on the forehead at least ten times already. Her skin was now red and sensitive, and she wished she could return the flicks to him. But as he was her senior, she tried to hold back as much as possible. 

"Now, it's my turn…" The elder rubbed his hand greedily.

They make a deal as they leave the castle. Since there was only one carriage, it was clear they would have to survive in each other's company for at least two weeks. To make the journey more bearable, they decided to exchange knowledge.

The Sage was very interested in everything related to oriental medicine. She was just an enthusiast and not a certified doctor, but her knowledge was still extensive.
