Eddie was having a lot of fun with Scarlet at the resort. Before she met Stuart, they had lived together in an apartment. They had a good relationship and had a great time on their holiday. If Stuart hadn't called her and tried to get her to come home every day, she would have stayed longer.
They were finally home, and as the car entered downtown, Scarlet deliberately took a deep breath, "Oh, what a familiar smell of stale air. You would think by now I would be used to it."
Eddie knew that Scarlet was expressing her frustration in a roundabout way, and with a smile, she pushed her, "Scarlet, don't be angry with me."
Eddie did feel guilty as they were only on their trip for three days.
"Hum, you are now a married woman. It upsets me because you have no time for me anymore."
