I didn't react, so I simply sipped the wine in the cup. I was waiting to hear what my husband's father would say.

My husband was about to speak when I placed my hand on his lap. He looks at me.

"Invite her in," I speak. They all look at me.

"Did you touch any of your food or drinks?"

My husband shakes his head. "I haven't," he utters.

I move a little. "Let's sit next to each other. No need for a new table and preparing food. Just grab another cushion for our love lady," I utter.

I look at Shanguan Zu Jin and tap my side. He sighed. He stood up, moved his cushion, and sat next to me.

I smiled. I grabbed another cup and poured tea for him. I even give him a bowl of rice. I heard the footsteps from behind.

"Greetings, auntie, uncle, grandfather, and grandmother," Yihua says.

I didn't look at her. "Take a seat, Yihua," his mom says, smiling sweetly.
