My husband arrived before the darkness covered the sky. He entered my room and saw me as I cleaned the table.

I know my maidservants will be here at any moment. They will bring our dinner.

I sighed. I told her what happened. She held my palm and looked at me in the eyes.

"Women will only understand the meaning of a man's actions if you tell them yourself. It's normal that she thinks that you care for her for romantic reasons," I utter.

I halted for a while because Ren Jia and He Ying came to serve our dinner. I smiled at them.

"Thank you. You may leave and have your dinner as well," I stated.

They both smile and leave. I put some tofu in his bowl and transferred some of the meat to my pig's foot soup.

"Your Highness, you don't need to give me your own food," A'Zu says. I shake my head and smile.
