Xavier leaned against the wall near the door.

He cast a glance at the lifeless body on the ground and asked Lance, "Are you feeling sorrowful? Did you actually like him back?"

Lance, regaining his composure, gazed into Xavier's clear, emotionless eyes.

Those eyes seemed perpetually unclouded, devoid of any particular sentiment.

He paused briefly, then carefully chose his words, "It's not that I held any affection for him. Although, I can say he was a good friend to me."

Xavier nodded slowly, seemingly finding an answer to his query.

In his ear, 007 chimed in, [The target ??? favorability +10%, his current favorability is 22%.]

Nicholas, Lance, and Xavier found themselves as the only three remaining in the vicinity. 

Nicholas broke the silence, suggesting, "Now that it's just us three here, how about we head up to the roof?"

Lance nodded in agreement, and they each improvised weapons for themselves.
