Hearing my answer, the girl exhaled deeply, relaxing a bit.
I glanced at her with my eyes narrowed. "However. If I ever catch you trying to approach the boy… I mean Evan, again, the deal is immediately off. Are we clear?"
She looked back at me, her face emotionless once again. "And so it is if you ever harm him in any way."
I shrugged my shoulders. "Does emotional damage count?" I asked, half-jokingly.
As long as the boy wouldn't do anything against me, I had no reason to hurt him. I was trying to turn him into a good subordinate, after all. But, manipulating him could be considered causing him mental harm, I guess.
Of course, regardless of what she said, I would just continue what I was doing. Manipulation was necessary to ensure everything worked out well.
But the girl didn't even bother responding, she just stared at me with a serious expression. She clearly didn't like it, but also knew there was no point arguing with me.
