章 90: Attachment

The next day, Keizu returned to Seraphyne's house very early in the morning.

With the consent of Seraphyne's family, the child went into her room. Keizu sat in the chair beside his mother and watched her as she slept.

'Mommy looks so pretty when she's sleeping. I wish I could sleep with her and Dad, and I'll be the cute baby in between! Dad must feel very sad too because he's lonely every day. There was no mom to take care of him.'

As if having a conscious eye in the room, Seraphyne awakened from her slumber, feeling that someone was watching her. Her eyes fluttered open, silently blinking as she tried to adjust to the blinding light.

"Good morning, Mommy!" Keizu greeted.

Seraphyne jolted awake and sat up as she stared at the child who appeared out of nowhere. 'This child always appears everywhere! How did he even enter my room?'

"You... gave me a heart attack again. Can you promise me one thing?" Seraphyne sighed.
