章 214: Sabbath

The sickening sweet smell of blood filled the air as the heavy thud of a dead body hitting the ground woke him up from his unconscious state, He looked in horror as his surroundings were littered with bodies of every kind, the blood pooling from them staining the ground red, the sticky liquid bringing with a choking smell.

 A hooded figure with a morbid smile and dangerously red eyes gazing down at him with a sacrificial dagger in hand, looking around in panic he could see that the bodies around him were set in a sort of pattern, layered on top of each other and he was vaguely in the centre.

 Thinking of the rumours he had been hearing about, he understood his situation, he had been captured by a cult and he was obviously the main sacrifice, his mind was groggy and his limbs were too weak to even put up a fight, he could only watch in horror and despair as the sharp blade of the dagger crept close to his neck and tore his flesh.
