The sun was still high in the sky when the tattered Layton walked back towards the area of the shop, his clothes were torn in different places and the soles of his shoes were already deeply worn out, Layton had walked down from the ruins of the battlefield like this, although he had avoided crowds it was taken for granted that some people saw him on his way back and rewarded him with strange gazes, in front of the shop he could hear the police sirens ringing as they sped toward the site of his previous battle. Layton was not worried that the authorities would trace the incident back to him after all Rose was present during the battle and if she knew what was good for her she would downplay the incident.

  Walking into the shop the first thing he caught sight of was Lilith who was sitting, staring at the door apparently waiting for his return.
