Over the next few weeks Jenna tried telling herself she had to do it no matter what happened in February but she was waffling. She knew she was important to Bryce and, truthfully, he was important to her too.
She loved spending time with him. His sense of humor and willingness to try anything new kept things interesting but it was more than that. He was her calm in the storm.
No matter how crazy her life was right now, she had someone that cared to keep her anchored. That meant the world to her but she was still afraid to let him in more than she already had.
They acted more like a real couple as they went around doing various Christmassy things and making cookies together when she wasn't swamped with homework or getting in volunteer hours. They still hadn't gone all the way though. She felt like she couldn't do that as someone else. If she was going to make love to her boyfriend, it would be as Jenna Mitchell or not at all.
