"I think it's true. I can't say for sure, but Thanos did have
someone. He had someone in 2011, I think. I'm not too sure my
perception of time is a bit messed up at the moment, but he
wanted the tesseract but he couldn't get it himself, so he sent the
person along with the army and the sceptre. but the person
failed, or what Thanos called failing. He gave the person the army
and the sceptre because He thought the individual would have a
strong chance of obtaining the Tesseract with the army and the
sceptre. Giving the individual the mind stone was a big risk, but
because he was so fixated on obtaining the Tesseract, he was
sure they would succeed. I can't say for sure if it was Loki, but I
do know that Thanos had the person for months before he forced
them to go collect that stone," Gamora told Agent Fury,
"You say Thanos had the person for months. Why, if he needed
the stones as soon as possible, why would he keep them for
months?" fury asked.
"He might have thought that the individual wasn't ready and
wasn't powerful enough. In order to ensure that they were ready,
he gave them a few months. Then, after a few months, he
probably decided they were ready, and he gave them the army and the sceptre, instructing them to carry out his will." Gamora
told Furv.
"If everyone can sign the papers you were given, then you can
leave, except for Loki. I would like you to stay behind Thor You
are welcome to stay as well. And if possible, Gamora, can you
stay behind And Dr Banner and Stark as well. I want to know the
truth--the whole truth. I want to find out what's going on." Fury
said,
"I have told you the truth," Loki told Fury.
"You are notorious for being untrustworthy, so I need the others
to vouch for it and determine if you're genuinely telling the truth
or not." Fury explained to Loki.
"You can't keep me here without a reason or if you have some
sort of proof of me doing anything wrong, or am I wrong about
your Midgardian rules?" Loki asked.
"That's sort of true; however, we can hold you for up to 24 hours
without charging you if we have any suspicions of you doing
something illegal or wrong; we simply want to know the truth so
then we know what we are dealing with." Fury told Loki.
"Stark, Banner, and Gamora have confirmed the same thing. Isn't
that enough?" Thor asked.
"There's something he's not telling us; we just want to know
what that is, and then he can go," Agent Fury told Thor.
Everyone else finished their paperwork and left, one by one.
Natasha wheeled herself up to catch up to Wanda as fast as she could.
"Wanda!" Natasha called out.
Wanda turned around and looked at Natasha.
