Ellie's eyes circled in shock and disbelief as the gravity of his words dawned on her.
"You swore to destroy the city?" She asked, her voice a mix of incredulity and desperation.
Storm, standing tall and unmoved, met her gaze without flinching. "No. I swore to do whatever Elfin wants, and he is demanding the destruction of the city."
"But you can't destroy the city alone, right?" Ellie's voice trembled with urgency. "I mean, there are thousands if not millions of people in Alada, and there is so much infrastructure, buildings, and so many other things. Even if you were to destroy the city, how are you going to do it? Will other people be joining you? How long will it take? Will there be a warning for the occupants of the city to relocate?"
Her questions poured out in rapid succession, a desperate attempt to grasp the gravity of the situation.
"You ask too many questions," Storm noted, his voice a low rumble.
